We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent time curled up reading in bed with, or which book you wish you had time to read today!

I haven’t touched a book this Sunday and I have no idea what I’ll be picking up next. I think I’ll be focusing my attention on either Crowns of Croswald because I really need to finish this book or I’ll return my attention to Trading Secrets. Both are ARCs I received from authors but I’ve been having a difficult time getting into both stories, the latter more so than the former. Let’s see if I’ll have better luck this time since I no longer have blog tour reads to prioritise!

What are you currently reading?

It’s not unexpected since it happens at the end of every year but time continues to be going so quickly! The majority of my colleagues are now on leave and so while work stays busy, I’m one of the few left to handle things until the new year! I really wish I still had leave days but I’m taking comfort in knowing that there are only two work weeks left, and both are shorter than usual due to long weekends. Although my family doesn’t celebrate Christmas, it’s still hard to believe it’s already that time of the year! It’s obviously going to be a very different Christmas than usual but I do hope, if you celebrate, that you manage to find some joy during this season and of course, stay safe!

As usual, I’ve been playing my fair share of ACNH and I’m slowly getting to the point where I’d feel okay making a Dream Address for my island so people can come and visit! I have smaller sections that I still need to do, such as my outdoor library/cafe and I need to finish my Christmas Market that I decided to make on a whim today! Last week was also the first time the “Northern Lights” made an appearance in game and it was so beautiful (these photos don’t do it justice)! I took a nice sunset shot as well because the colour of the sky is always gorgeous during these times.

I think my reading this week has been going pretty well? I managed to finish three books this weekend alone, two romances and a non-fiction and I really enjoyed all but one of them–it wasn’t the NF either, surprise surprise! I still have to finish three books to complete my POPSUGAR Reading Challenge and it’s so close, I really hope that I can do it 😍 Though I’m definitely feeling more confident about being able to complete it now! 🤞🏽

Today was also my last blog tour scheduled for 2020 and wow! What a time it has been for me. I don’t think I would’ve read nearly half as much if it weren’t for these blog tours holding me accountable, but at the same time, I think I’m definitely going to slow down my tour roll next year. 😅 It has been such a great experience though so I won’t stop completely but I will definitely make more time to read my backlist and other pending/overdue ARCs!
