#TopTenTuesday: Books with A Unit of Time In the Title

So, we’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week is actually a freebie and so I decided to do a topic that I don’t think I’ve done before: Books With a Unit of Time In the Title (seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, eternity, etc.) (Submitted by RS @ The Idealistic Daydream)

This week’s topic is actually about epilogues but I can’t recall books with or without epilogues and I’m not particularly fussed about it either…

So I decided to go back to last week’s topic which I accidentally missed because of travel brain! 🙈 This was a surprisingly tough prompt to find books for and it took a while to dig through my Goodreads lists to find ten titles but I eventually got a mix of “read” and “unread” titles. Now without further ado, let’s get to it!

The Grace Year
The Thirteenth Hour

Eight Perfect Hours
Mr Penumbra’s 24-Hour Bookstore
That Second Chance

10 Minutes, 38 Seconds In This Strange World
Seven Days in June
One Night on the Island
A Thousand Steps Into Night
Last Night at the Telegraph Club

Have you read any of these books or are they also on your TBR?

  1. Yep, I wasn’t too fussed about the epilogues topic either… Anyway, I love the cover of The Thirteenth Hour, looks like a blend of Urban Fantasy, Time Travel and Historical? Looks good!

    • I found the epilogue prompt much harder than the previous week’s one but it still was a bit of a challenge to find the time unit titles 😂 I can’t wait to read Elif Shafak’s book because I’ve heard great things about it. I hope you enjoy it whenever you get to it!

      • We all have different problems with different topics. I just went through my book list on my blog and started with “second”. That’s why I find the ones where I have to look for a word in the title easier.

I have read several books by Elif Şafak and loved them all, so I’m sure we’ll also enjoy this one.

    • I haven’t read it yet but it’s high up on my TBR. I’m trying to save it for the holiday months cos it definitely feels more of a “seasonal read”! I hope you enjoy it whenever you get around to reading it! 😃

    • Haha, you know my TBR too well 😂 Those are part of my unread list and I’d so be down to read them with you! I wonder if we can get to Seven Days in June, in June? 😜 But I’d honestly be up for reading them any time!

  3. I had opted to do books with “day” in the title because I found so many on my read shelf, but I see many I was considering when I was thinking “time” in general. One Night on the Island would need to be included because the book was so wonderful!
